				COMMUNITY Before teaching and coaching at Thousand Oaks High School, Ron taught at Riverdale Joint Union High School from 1960 to 1966. He moved to Thousand Oaks High School and was a biology teacher through 1999. He retired from teaching in August 1999. For twenty years he taught tennis part time for the Conejo Recreation and Park District. He has served as a treasurer of the Chrysanthemum Society and has served on the Thousand Oaks City Traffic Committee.
