Jon Mack is one of the most outstanding and successful football coaches in the area. He began his career at Notre Dame High School where he coached Football and Track for six years. He spent a year at Alemany High School, a year at Loyola High School, and then moved to St. Bonaventure, where he spent 17 years as Head Varsity Football Coach, also being Head Track Coach for two years during which his team won two league championships and were runner-up in CIF. In his seventeen years as Head Football Coach, Coach Mack’s St. Bonaventure teams won 12 league championships, and were CIF champions seven times – 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005. Coach Mack holds the record for most wins and highest winning percentage in Ventura County high school football history, as well as achieving 150+ wins faster than any coach in Ventura County history,. His teams won three Cal-Hi Sports State Championships and were ranked by US Today as #1 in the Western United States.
COLLEGE:
In 2007 Coach Mack moved to Ventura College and led them to a 8-3 season. Ventura College won the WSC Championship and won the SO-CAL Bowl.

COMMUNITY:
Coach Mack is a member of the American Football Coaches Association, California State Coaches Association and Ventura Football Coaches Association. He has served as a clinician across the United States for the Mega Clinic, Frank Glazier and Southern California Interscholastic Coaches Association football clinics.
