BUENA
Riley Ridgik: GPA 4.0 Riley has taken AP classes in Environmental Science and CalculusAB. She has been on the honor roll for 4 years, magna cum laude. Riley has four varsity letters in Soccer. In her resume, she has 45 different accomplishments so it is impossible to mention all of them. She was on league championship teams 4 times, All Channel League 4 times, Bulldog captain 3 times, All County 3 times, All CIF 3 times, and team MVP 3 times. This year she was League MVP, CountyMVP, STAR Player of the Year and CIF Player of the Year. Buena beat Long Beach Wilson 2-0 to win the CIF Championship and Riley scored both goals. She was honored by her school with the Joseph Michael Johnson Top Dog Award. Riley has volunteered in the Relay for Life and was a fund raiser for breast cancer research. She works with autistic children, has made up care packages for soldiers and helped clean up the beach. Riley has accepted a full scholarship from WakeForestUniversity where she will major in Biology hoping for a career in the medical field.
Bret Colman: GPA: 4.61 Bret ranks fourth in his class and has taken eight AP classes – U.S. History, English Language, English Literature, German, Environmental Science, American Democracy, Economics and Calculus. He is a Ventura STAR Scholar, a Football Academic Scholar and a Buena Scholar Athlete. Bret has six varsity letters – four in Track and two in Football. In Track, he has been named Most Improved, team co-captain and Thrower of the Year. In the CountyChampionships, he has won the discus twice and the shot put once. In Football, he was All Channel League two times, team co-captain and led his team to a win in the “Hogs” Tournament against other county schools. He was named to the All Bulldog Team. Bret is active in Student Government and is currently Buena ASB President. He is in the youth band, a member of the Sacred Heart youth ministry and a peer leader. In the fall, Bret will attend the University of Notre Dame with a double major of Theology and English hoping to become a teacher.

Raquel Lambdin: GPA: 3.95 Raquel ranks in the top 12% of her class of 566 and has taken AP classes in European History, US Government, US History, Calculus A & B, English 3 and Micro-economics. She has four varsity letters in Track and three in Cross Country. In Track she has been voted Most Improved, won the Coaches Award, was the Scorpion’s MVP two times and was All County three times. She has set the school, Pacific View League and Ventura County record in the 1600m with a time of 5:00:37. She has won two league championships in the 1600 and one each in the 800m and the 4X400 Relay. In Cross Country Raquel has been part of three league championship teams, been MVP three times and All County three times (in both her sports she has been All County six times). Raquel is a Red Cross-certified life guard. She participated in the “People to People” program and has traveled to Australia. In 2009 she went to Washington DC to attend the Presidential Inauguration. In the fall, Raquel will run for the University of California, Davis where she will major in exercise Biology for a career in Sports Medicine.
Matt Hickman: Matt has four varsity letters in Wrestling. He has been the Pacific League Champion three times. He was fifth in CIF, then second and final CIF Champion twice. At the Master’s Meet he was second two years and then first. He is a Greco All American and Free Style State champion three times. This year Matt was the Pacific League MVP, first in CIF, fourth in the State Championship and second in National Free Style. He is the Ventura STAR “Wrestler of the Year”. In the words of one STAR sportswriter, “Matt has had the most impressive career of any wrestler in the history of the county.” His career record is 184-29 including 110 pins. In the fall, Matt will enroll at Fresno City College hoping to eventually become a Health teacher.
CHANNEL ISLANDS
Taylor Hernvall: GPA: 3.8 Taylor has taken AP classes in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, English Language, U.S. History, Calculus, Physics, Macro-Economics, US Government and Psychology. A total of ten APs, an all-time record for our Athletes! She is the CSF Treasurer, a member of the Key Club and has been active in ASB. Taylor has three varsity letters – two in Swimming and one in Water Polo. In Swimming she swam the 50 free and the 100 fly. She broke the school record in the fly, was team captain and the Raiders MVP twice. In Water Polo she was the team MVP. Taylor served in a volunteer internship at St. John’s Medical center and volunteered with Foodshare. In the fall, Taylor will enroll at the University of California, Santa Barbara, hoping for a career in Medicine.
Adrian Rodriguez: GPA: 3.4 Adrian ranks in the top 20% of his class. He has four varsity letters- two in Swimming and two in Water Polo. In Swimming, he was the Raiders captain two times and team MVP two times. He swam the 100 fly and 50 free. He holds the Channel Islands boys record in the 100 fly. In Water Polo he was “Rookie of the Year”, team captain, team MVP and was chosen All League. In the fall he will enroll at California State University, Chico, on the road to becoming a veterinarian.

Rachel Jade Mar: GPA: 3.98 Rachel has been on the Honor Roll for four years. She has received the Eagle award for two years, the Joel McCrea Award this year and a Member of CSF. Rachel has earned ten varsity letters – three in Volleyball, three in Track, two in Basketball and one each in Soccer and Softball. In Volleyball as a senior she was Team Captain and received the Coaches Award. In Track as a freshman she ran on the 4X100 relay team that went to the CIF Championships. In Basketball she was MVP as a Freshman and played on the Boy’s Team as a senior because the Girls Team had been dissolved. Rachel has many community activities including mission trips, Niño de Baja and Operation Christmas Child. She has volunteered as a AYSO referee and assistant coach, Rotary Club Track Meets and at Ida’s Pet Grooming. In the Fall she will attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she will major in Animal Science hoping to become a Veterinarian.
Mark Blank: GPA: 4.3 Mark is a Member of CSF and on the Golden Eagle Honor Roll. He has seven varsity letters – three in track, two in Cross Country and two in Basketball. In Cross Country he was team MVP two times. In Track he was team MVP three times. He qualified for CIF in both sports. In Basketball he was team MVP, All Omega League and received the eagle Award. Mark has many community services including mission trips to Mexico and El Paso Texas. He is a member of the Wider Focus Service Group and referees for AYSO. Iruma Trujillo: GPA: 4.05 Iruma ranked 10th in her class and has taken AP classes in Language and Composition, Biology, Literature and Composition and Calculus AB. She is a CSF and Renaissance Honor Roll student. She has two varsity letters in Cross Country and one in Track. In Cross Country she has received the Coaches Award two years in a row and she was the Flashes Track team captain. She is a member of the Interact Club, the CSF Club, the Go Green Club and she is a volunteer judge at local science fairs. Kassandra Dunn: GPA: 3.2 Kassy has been on the honor roll each year. She has four varsity letters in softball and three in basketball. In softball, she has been team MVP two times, Best Defensive Player once, All League four times, League MVP once, and All CIF twice. She was named All American by the National Christian School Athletic Association and to the small schools All State team. Both as a sophomore and as a senior, she had the highest batting average and the most home runs in the County. In basketball she was Best Offensive Player, team MVP, and All League. Kassy assists a special needs softball league and gives lessons to young girls. Kassy has accepted a scholarship to the University of Memphis in Tennessee where she will major in Early Childhood Development and Special Needs Children.
Max Leffler: GPA: 3.9 Max has taken 5 AP classes. He is a four year member of the Principal’s Honor Roll, a CIF Scholar Athlete, and a National Football League Scholar Athlete. Max has four varsity letters in Football. He has accrued many honors including Rookie of the year, Defensive MVP, All League 3 times, All County twice and All CIF. As a quarterback he was on the Cal Hi and Maxpreps All State teams two times. He was team captain twice, team MVP twice and MVP of the Frontier League as a senior. He led his teams to the CIF semi and quarter finals. In his career he totaled 7,507 offensive yards (5,378 passing and 1,357 rushing) and threw 44 touchdown passes. Jordan Needle: GPA: 3.67 Jordan has taken AP Calculus and is a four-year Scholar Athlete. She has four varsity letters in Softball. Jordan was team MVP three times and Tri Valley MVP. In her junior year, she hit .536 with a slugging percentage of .610. As a senior she repeated as team captain, hit .506, had thirty-four RBIs and four home runs. Jordan led Ventura County in doubles. She volunteers at Acacia Elementary School in Thousand Oaks. Jordan has accepted a Softball scholarship to Fairleigh Dickinson University where she will major in Business.

Nikoletta Georgalis: GPA: 4.25 Nikoletta ranks tenth in her class of 562. She has taken nine AP classes including European History, Calculus BC, U.S. History, Chemistry, English language and Composition, Statistics, English Literature, Psychology and Studio Art. She has a long list of academic honors including a Golden State Seal Merit diploma and she has been nominated yearly for the Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. She reads, writes and speaks fluent Greek. Nikoletta has four varsity letters in Track & Field and one in Soccer. In Track she has been All Marmonte three times and All County three times. Over her four year high school career, she has qualified for the County Championships in six events. She competed at the Don Green Invitational and placed first in the Long Jump and second in the High Jump. She has been the Musketeers captain twice, holds school records in the Long Jump and the 400m Relay and is the County High and Long Jump champion. Nikoletta plays Club Soccer with the Camarillo Eagles and Basketball in an Greek Orthodox Church League. In the fall, she will enroll at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and work on a career in Corporate Finance.
Harris Quinn: Harris has won the Principal’s Award all four years at Moorpark High school and the Mark Gressman Scholarship award. He has five varsity letters - three in Track and two in Football. In Track he was Scholar Athlete and team MVP in the High and Long Jumps and County champion. In Football Harris was All Marmonte League and named Most Valuable Defensive Back and the school’s Most Valuable 12th Grade Athlete.
In the fall Harris will enroll at UC Davis to play Football for the Aggies.
NEWBURY PARK
Hanna Burge: GPA:3.88 Hanna has been on the honor roll all 4 years, and has been nominated to the County Basketball Coaches Association All-Academic team. Hanna has received a team offense award, a team rebounding award, a team defense award, and was named team MVP. She was All Marmonte League two times, AllVenturaCounty once and all CIF once. She was the recipient of the Lisa Doman Memorial Award and her Panther team went to the 2nd round of CIF. Hanna has been a volunteer in the Relay for Life, a cancer fundraiser and to a youth basketball league. In the fall she will enroll at VenturaCollege. At this time her major is undecided.
Sean Grumney: GPA: 3.0 Sean has taken AP Photography. He has eight varsity letters- four in Cross Country and four in Track and Field. In Cross Country he has been named to the All league team four times and the All County team three times. As a Freshman he was a Marmonte League record holder and later was the STAR’s Junior Runner of the Year. He has been a CIF finalist two times and the Panthers MVP while leading his team to a league championship. In Track, Sean held the Freshman record in the 800m and the 1600m. His relay teams were the 4X400 champions four times and he was the 800m champion twice in both league and county. Sean ran the fourth fastest indoor 800 in the nation at the Brooks PR Invitational. He has gone to the CIF Finals twice in both the 800m and the 1600m. This season, Sean repeated as the Panther MVP. In the fall he will enroll at UCLA where he will study Business.

Autumn Lee Brobisky: GPA: 4.14 Autumn has taken AP classes in European History, English Language and Composition, Calculus, Physics and Psychology. She has been on the Faculty Honor Roll, the Golden Key Honor Society and the CSF for four years. She is a CSF Seal Bearer this year. Autumn has four letters in Basketball and three in Track. In her Basketball career she has been “Rookie of the Year”, “Most Inspirational”, team captain, All League, All Tournament in two tournaments despite having to take five months off in her sophomore year to rehab a serious shoulder injury. In Track she qualified for the “Russell Cup” in the 100m, 200m, 4X100m and the Long Jump. She is captain of the Rangers County Championship in the 4X100 and qualified for League Finals. Autumn has volunteered as 4H Club Secretary, was on the County Fair Junior Board, volunteers at Ojai Community Hospital and is a Nordhoff peer tutor. She plans to attend Ventura College, go on to a four-year college and major in Science.
Sean Bettles: GPA: 3.6 Sean has taken AP classes in Psychology, World History, Spanish 4 and English II. He is a Member of the Faculty Honor Roll, the Gold Key Club and CSF. Sean has three letters in Football, three letters in Basketball and three letters in Baseball. In Cross Country she was selected Tri Valley Runner of the Year three times, All Ventura County three times, All CIF twice and All State twice. Demi Meza: GPA: 4.1 Demi is ranked #1 in her class of 730, is a four-year Honor Roll member and is the Yellowjackets Valedictorian. She has taken AP classes in English Literature and Statistics. Demi has four varsity letters in Softball. She has been All Pacific View League four times, All County two times and All CIF. She has been honored with the Coaches Award, was team captain and was MVP of the Thousand Oaks Tournament. For five years, Demi has been a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Youth Group that has helped provide food at a local homeless shelter. She has volunteered at the Relay for Life, at the Ronald McDonald House and for four years at the Glenwood Convalescent Home reading and visiting with the elderly. In the fall, Demi has a full ride scholarship to Stetson University in Florida where she will major in Business.
Andrew Gonzalez: GPA: 4.6 Andrew has taken classes in AP Chemistry, Physics, English 3 and 4, US History and Calculus, earning a perfect “5” in the National AP Chemistry exam. He has six varsity letters- four in Wrestling and two in Water Polo. In Wrestling he has led the Yellowjackets to four league championships. He has been team captain three years, team MVP two times and All County twice, Pacific View champions at his weight three times and is the CIF champion. His record this year was 41-5 and was third in the Master’s Meet. Andrew is one of three athletes to ever have had perfect attendance at Practice all four years at Oxnard H.S. Andrew is founder and head coach at the “Little Stingers” Youth Wrestling Club and a volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. In the fall, he will enroll at Cornell University and major in Chemistry. He hopes to eventually find a career in the Medical field.

Tatiana Alcala: GPA: 3.75 Tatiana was a Scholar Athlete all eight semesters and received the Triton Academic Lamp for consecutive semesters of a 3.75 GPA or better. She was a member of the ASB for four years. Tatiana earned seven varsity letters – four in Softball and three in Basketball. In Softball she was All Pacific View four times, was “Rookie of the Year”, was presented with the Coaches award, was team captain three times, was All Tournament at Hart HS and was team MVP twice. She led the team this year with a .483 BA, 23 for 23 in stolen bases and 18 walks. In Basketball, Tatiana was All league three times, made All tournament teams four times, was team captain twice and received the Best Defensive Player Award three times. She played in the County East vs. West All Star game. She was a YMCA volunteer leader, a volunteer referee at the Boys and Girls Club, a volunteer tutor at Rio Del Norte Elementary School (where, as a student there, she was proud to choose the school mascot and the colors), and a volunteer student teacher at Cesar Chavez Elementary through the PHS (TECA) program. In the fall she will enroll at University of North Carolina Greensboro where she will major in Bio-Chemistry hoping for a career in medical research.
Austin Thierry: GPA: 3.8 Austin ranks #18 in his class and has taken AP Micro Economics, European and U.S, History and Biology. Austin has eight varsity letters- four in Water Polo and four in Swimming. In Water Polo, he was named to the All Pacific View League team three times. He was the Tritons MVP twice, All CIF twice and All County. In Swimming, he qualified for the CIF Finals four times and was tem MVP twice. Kayla Lindquist: Kayla has taken AP Psychology and is a member of CSF. She has seven varsity letters- four in Track and three in Volleyball. In Track she has been awarded Rookie of the Year, Most Versatile Athlete and was Ventura County’s High Jump champion and Most Outstanding Jumper. In Volleyball, she was Rookie of the Year, two-time Spartan MVP and All Pacific View League first team. Kayla has volunteered with Relay for Life, the Red Cross, Spartans for a Cure and with the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort. In the fall, Kayla will enroll at Moorpark College and major in Psychology.
Lucas Villa: Lucas has been a Scholar Athlete every semester and has taken AP classes in Chemistry, Economics, Psychology and Calculus B&C. He has earned eight varsity letters- four in Water Polo and four in Swimming. In Water Polo, Lucas was All Pacific View League three times, All CIF three times and played in three CIF Finals, winning a CIF championship in his senior year. As a senior, he was the Spartan’s captain and MVP, league MVP, first team All County and CIF Player of the Year. This year he scored ninety-three goals. Lucas has taught swimming, been a school district camp counselor and a youth water polo coach. In the fall he will enter Northwestern Prep in Colorado prior to entering the United States Air Force Academy. He has accepted a Falcon Foundation Scholarship and will continue his Water Polo career. He aspires to becoming a career Air Force Officer as either a pilot or Aerospace Engineer.

Kaitlyn Lykins: GPA: 4.00 Kaitlyn has taken seven AP classes including World History, U.S. History, Government, Macroeconomics, English Language, English Literature and Statistics. She is senior class vice president, a scholar athlete for four years, All County Academic team for two years and the Highlanders Valedictorian. Kaitlyn has four varsity letters in Basketball. Her teams went to CIF all four years and were Marmonte League champions two times. She was team captain twice, Best Defensive Player twice, made All Tournament teams four times, was All League twice, All Ventura County, All CIF and Highlander MVP. Kaitlyn has extensive community service including Simi’s Relay for Life (three years), Simi Junior Olympics and the “Make A Wish” Foundation. Kaitlyn has accepted both a Presidential and Merit Scholarships to University of Redlands. She will major in International Relations with the eventual goal of attending Law School.
Sean Upson: GPA: 4.28 Sean has taken seven AP classes- World History, U.S. History, English II, Calculus, Physics, Government and Economics. He was a Scholar Athlete every year and an AP Scholar. Sean has twelve varsity letters – four in Cross Country, four in Soccer and four in Track. His team won the Marmonte League Cross Country championship two times. He was team captain, All League twice and MVP two times. In post season competition his teams finished ninth, third and second in CIF. The Highlanders also went to the State Meet twice and finished fifth and second. In Soccer, Sean was All Marmonte three times, won the 100% Hustle award three times and was Offensive Player of the Year and Mid Fielder of the Year. His teams were League champs once and went to CIF three times. In Track, his team won League once and he received the Coaches Award, was Distance MVP and was Royal’s Male Athlete of the Year. Sean founded the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Royal and was active as a youth leader and bible school teacher at Stonebridge Community Church. In the fall, he will have the choice of attending either University of California San Diego or the Colorado School of Mines to study Mechanical Engineering.
ST. BONAVENTURE
Hannah Hill: Hannah has received academic honors in English, Religion, Adolescent Psychology and was a member of ASB. She has four varsity letters in Volleyball and four in Softball. In Volleyball she was on All Tournament teams twice and was a tournament MVP twice. She was the Seraph’s team captain, Offensive MVP three times, All League four times, All County twice and received the “Top Gun” award three times, League MVP and was chosen to play on the West County All Star team. In Softball, Hannah was team captain, All League and recipient of the “Slugger” award. She has an extensive record of service including being both ASB vice president and president. She went to the National Youth Leadership Conference four times, was an officer of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a trainer for the Seraph’s Football team for three years. Hannah is both a peer leader and Confirmation leader at Assumption Church and has gone on mission trips. She has chosen to continue her volleyball career on a full ride scholarship to the University of North Carolina- Pembroke and major in Business.
Jalen Jefferson: GPA: 3.2 Jalen has four varsity letters and has been awarded thirty different honors. To mention a few- Jalen was on the team that won the Channel League championship three times, the Marmonte League once and was state champion two times. He was All Channel League, All Marmonte League and All Ventura County twice. He was the Seraph’s Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the All State team as a senior. All the national recruiting services rank Jalen in the top forty linebackers in the country- ESPN ranks him at 37, Prepstar at 33 and Scout.com at 38. He has had scholarship offers from Arizona, Arizona St., Army, Boise State, Washington and many others. Jalen has accepted the offer from the University of California at Berkeley where he will study Sports Medicine hoping to eventually become a chiropractor or physical therapist.
SANTA CLARA
Chanel Smith: GPA: 3.5 Chanel has received the High Honor Award every year. She earned four varsity letters in Basketball. She was All league two times, All Ventura County two times, Defensive Player of the Year two times and named to the All-Tournament team in the Ventura Optimist Cougar Tournament. Chanel led the Saints to the Tri Valley Championship and the CIF small schools championship. Chanel has volunteered at the Soup Kitchen, the El Rio Clean-Up and the “Lil Saints Day Beach Clean-up”. She has accepted a full scholarship to Northern Arizona University, major undecided.
Hans Baumstark: GPA: 3.8 Hans has taken AP classes in both English and Government and Politics. He has received the High Honor Roll award for 4 years. He has 4 varsity letters in tennis. He played his first two years at ChristianBrothersHigh School in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was team MVP and named to the AllState team twice. At Santa Clara, he was team MVP twice, All League twice, and All CIF twice. His two year record in league was 50 wins and 1 loss. He has volunteered tutoring elementary school kids and has been a youth tennis coach. Hans has accepted an academic scholarship from MethodistUniversity where he will major in Economics and Professional Tennis Management. Adrianna Nunez Alvarado: GPA: 4.45 Adrianna ranks number six in her class of 444 and has taken AP classes in English 11, English 12 and Calculus. She is a two-year member of both CSF and the National Honors Society and has earned the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement Award four times. She has been in ASB for four years and is currently the Student Body President. Adrianna has six varsity letters- three in Soccer and three in Track. She has been named to the All League Academic team all six seasons. She was on the All County and All League teams, chosen as team MVP and qualified for CIF in both sports as a freshman and sophomore. Before her junior year she suffered a very severe knee injury requiring extensive surgery. After intense physical therapy, Adrianna returned to the field and was invited to play on the Under-17 Women’s Mexican National Soccer Team. She played in the World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago in 2010. She completed her high school career with another All League, All County performance and was honored with the Latino Town Hall Award. Adrianna has volunteered each year with the Relay for Life and the United Blood Services drive. In the fall she will enroll at UCSB hoping for a career in Sports management or Sports Therapy.
Eduardo Jimenez: GPA: 3.0 Eduardo is a two-time Scholar Athlete. He was awarded the Mr. Burns scholarship at Santa Paula H.S. Eduardo has three varsity letters in Basketball. He was named MVP of the Fillmore Tournament, was the Rookie of the Year and was the Cardinal’s MVP two times. He was chosen All league three times, league MVP and was named to the All County team. Eduardo has refereed youth Basketball and umpired youth Tee Ball. In the fall, he will enroll at Ventura College. His career goal is to become a Probation Officer.

Amanda Miller: GPA: 4.18 Amanda ranks #18 in her class of 602. She has taken AP classes in English 11, English 12 and Statistics. She is a four-year Scholars Athlete. Amanda has seven varsity letters – four in Cross Country and three in Track. In Cross Country she is a member of a Pioneer team that has been County champions three times, Marmonte League champions two times. She has been team captain, Most Inspirational and All Marmonte League. This year her team was third in CIF and fourth in the State. In Track, Amanda was team captain and won the 1600 and 3200 at the Great Oaks Invitational. She is peer leader at St. Peter Claver Church, a four-year leadership student and fundraiser for the “For the Troops” organization. In the fall she will enroll at California Lutheran University on an academic scholarship. Amanda will major in Biology with the goal of going on to medical school and become a doctor.
Jonathan Davis: Jonathan has three varsity letters in Basketball. He has been named to All Tournament teams six times and was MVP of the Tip Off Classic. He was All Marmonte League twice, All Ventura County twice and All CIF twice. He was the Pioneer MVP twice and Marmonte League MVP. Jonathan was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All State team and was a Macdonald’s All American nominee. He played in the City vs. CIF All Star game, the Battle of the Valley All Star game and the “Ball is Life” All American game. Jonathan has accepted a full Basketball scholarship to George Washington University.

Paris Shipp: GPA: 3.8 Paris has been a CIF Scholar Athlete. She has four varsity letters in Softball. Paris was the Lancers team captain twice, team Most Improved, team MVP, and made All Tournament teams five times including the “Best of the West” Tournament. She was chosen All Marmonte League four times, County Player of the Year, All CIF and named to the Cal-Hi Sports All State team. Paris started 119 games in her career and her four –year batting average was .355. She holds five Lancer career records. Paris has volunteered in the breast cancer fundraiser- “Hit for Hope.” In the fall she has accepted a full scholarship from Long Island University where she will major in Nursing.
Richard Mullaney: GPA: 3.2 Richard earned five varsity letters- three in Football and two in Basketball. In Football Rivals Scouting Service rated him as the 67th best prospect in the State. He was All League, All County, All CIF and All State twice each. He was chosen Marmonte League and CIF Player of the Week. In the CIF quarterfinals he made nineteen catches (a school record) for 303 yds. and three TDs against Oaks Christian. As a senior Richard had 122 receptions (State record) for 1703 yds. and twenty TDs. Richard was a US Air Force All American, a Parade All American and received the Lancer’s Green Helmet Award two times. Richard has earned a full Football Scholarship to Oregon State University where he will major in Business. He hopes for a career in the NFL.

Alex Morgan: GPA: 3.8 Alex has taken AP classes in economics, English, Government and U.S. History. She has been on the Principal’s Honor Roll for four years. Alex has four varsity letters in Track and Field. She has been chosen All Channel League five times, All County five times, All CIF three times and All State two times in both the discus and the shot put. Alex has also been selected County female Athlete of the Year twice. She has reset the Cougar school records every year and owns the county mark in the discus with a throw of 166 feet 8 inches. Alex is also a triple CIF and Master’s champion. This year she won both events for the third time. Last weekend, Alex became the California State champion in discus and placed fourth in the shot put. Alex is the President of the Fellowship of Student Athletes, volunteers in the Wounded Warrior Project and helps at clinics with young athletes. In the fall Alex will accept a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma where she will major in Psychology on the road to becoming a Psychologist.
Dylan Houck: GPA: 3.8 Dylan is on the Honor Roll and has taken AP History. He is three varsity letters in Basketball. Dylan was named All League three times, All County team two times and All CIF team two times. He was MVP of two tournaments, Co-MVP of the Channel League and was County Player of the Year. His cougar team had a 29-3 records this year, won the Channel League Championship, the CIF Div. II-A and advanced to the quarter finals of the State Tournament. Hannah Kolbeck: GPA: 3.74 Hannah was a scholar athlete and named to the Headmaster’s List. She has earned seven varsity letters- four in Basketball and three in Volleyball. In Basketball she was team MVP for four years, All League four years, All County twice and named to the All CIF team three times. She set Villanova school records with 1529 career points and 1110 rebounds. In Volleyball, Hannah received the Coaches Award, was All League three times and the voted the Wildcats MVP twice. Hannah has a wide range of community activities including Habitat for Humanity volunteer, bible school youth leader, campus ministry and retreat leader. In the fall she will enroll at Ventura College with an undecided major. He has been named to the All County Academic team three times and won the John Wooden High School Athletic Award. Jackson has ten varsity letters- four in Football, three in Baseball and one each in Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball. In Football he has been All League three times, voted the Wildcats captain twice, was team MVP this year and played in the County All Star Football Game. Hannah Schuett: GPA: 4.43 Hannah has taken five AP classes- European History, US History, Biology, Calculus, and US Government and Politics. She has been a scholar athlete four times and has received the Westlake High School Award of Recognition. Hannah has three varsity letters in Volleyball. She has been the Warriors MVP twice and First Team All Marmonte League and an All Ventura County selection. She was the Tournament MVP in Las Vegas. She owns Westlake single season records in assists with 850 and service aces with 53. Hannah has volunteered for the Relay for Life for four years and has been a sponsor/participant for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has accepted a scholarship from Hawaii Pacific University where she will major in Biochemistry hoping to continue on to medical school.
Nick Isham: GPA: 3.8 Nick has taken AP classes in Statistics and Human geography. He has been a Scholar Athlete all four years. Nick has four varsity letters in Football. He was the Warrior’s MVP twice, All Marmonte League twice, Marmonte MVP twice, All County twice, All CIF twice, CIF Offensive MVP twice and All State twice. Nick was the first quarterback in County history to pass for 6000 yards and run for 2000 yards. He is the National “Old Spice” Player of the Year. Nick has packaged food for soldiers, volunteered at a homeless shelter and worked for a two years as a camp counselor. He has accepted a full Football scholarship to Louisiana Tech and has a career goal of making it to the NFL.

Allison Kerr: Allison is a four year Volleyball letter player who has always been good but who this year became great. She was the team leader in kills with 429, and the hitting leader with a .433 percentage, with fifty-six service aces and eighty blocks. The Missouri native finished her career as the leader in kills with 1214 and second with 152 aces. The Regents has a twenty-nine match winning streak and were league champs. Allison was honored as SCIAC Player of the Year and 1st team All American. She graduated with a degree in Biology who plans to be a Zoologist.
Eric Flores: Eric went to high school in Custer, South Dakota where he was a seven-time All American in the shot put and the hammer throw. As a Kingsman he was the SCIAC champion in both specialties and second in the discus. Eric was SCIAC Athlete of the Week three times and CLU Athlete of the Week five times. Three weeks ago, within a twenty-four hour period, he earned two NCAA National Div. III titles – in the shot put and the hammer throw. Overall, Eric is a three-time Div. III champion. His family currently resides in Oxnard. Eric majored in Exercise science and minored in Pedigogy.

Sidney Dobner: Sidney transferred to Moorpark College after a season at San Francisco State. She immediately put the Raiders on track for their first playoff berth in five seasons. Sidney was team MVP averaging 18.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 7.1 assists per game. She earned Western State All Conference and All State honors. She had four double doubles and one triple double with a game-high 25 points, thirteen assists and ten rebounds in one game. Sidney plans to continue her career at Cal State San Marcos where she will major in Business.

Zuleima Jimenez: This 5’4” Cross Country runner from Channel Islands H.S., had an outstanding season for Oxnard College. The Southern California regional champion was First team All Western States Conference while leading her team to the State Meet. In that meet she was 17th, earning All State honors. Her best time was 18.51 at the Foothill Invitational. Zuleima also earned a place on the Dean’s List.

Monique Orocio: Monique was a scholar athlete both years at Ventura College. After spending her formative years in midfield and defense, the 5’2” Pacifica H.S. graduate developed into quite a goal scorer for Coach Hoffman’s Pirates. Her twenty-one goals and fourteen assists ranked her fifth in the State in both categories. Monique was team Offensive MVP, and won the Coaches Award and was First team All-American. She totaled fifty-six points as she captained the Pirates to their thirteenth WSC championship. Monique intends to transfer to Kansas Wesleyan University and major in Business.
James Ennis: This 6’7” forward from Ventura High School, had one of the finest Basketball seasons in Pirate history. He averaged 21.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5 assists per game. In his last home game, he scored thirty-six points, had seven rebounds and four assists. He was the team MVP and was chosen to the All Western State Conference team. Coach Will Cowen called him “the most complete player we ever saw in the State of California”. James has accepted a scholarship to play at Long Beach State University.
